The Northcore Lockjaw Surfboard Centre Fin Box Lock is a brilliantly simple way to secure your longboard (or any surfboard with a traditional centre fin box) while on your travels. The Lockjaw centre fin box is designed to deter the opportunist thief from walking off with your surfboard. This clever little system works with any surfboard which has a centre fin box; simply remove your centre fin and drop the two Lockjaw pieces into the slot, push the two pieces together and place the paddlock shackle through the hole, loop the cable through a secure anchor point i.e roof bars, alloy wheels, towing eye etc, and then attach the other end to the padlock! The cable is plastic coated with a marine grade steel core so it won’t rust or damage your surfboard. This security device will deter the thieving chancer from making off with your favourite surfboard but a determined thief can and will steel almost anything given the time and opportunity.
